Front-laced shoe, late medieval
Front-laced shoe, late medieval  Ref: SH/ULF-FW-06
Sturdy reconstruction of late-medieval shoes after finds in London, dated circa 1380 AD.
Each shoe has got three laces to close at the instep.

The 2mm-thick upper leather is sewn using a turnshoe-style edge/flesh butt seam.
The sole is made of several layers cowhide leather.
This modern construction allows for an authentic turn-shoe "look", while offering more stability and durability.

Details:
- strong upper leather (ca. 2mm thick)
- nailed leather sole, circa 6mm thick
- colour: dark-brown
