| Front Laced Ankle Boot Ref: SH/ULF-FW-01 |
|
Very solid reconstruction of medieval front laced ankle shoes. This kind of shoes were common in Europe from late Dark Ages up to late medieval. The 2mm-thick upper leather is sewn using a turnshoe-style edge/flesh butt seam. The sole is made of several layers cowhide leather. This modern construction allows for an authentic turn-shoe "look", while offering more stability and durability. Details: - solid leather (ca. 2mm thick) - nailed leather sole(ca. 4-5mm thick) - colour: dark-brown |
