Kettle hat with cheek guards, 2mm steel
Kettle hat with cheek guards, 2mm steel  Ref: H/ULF-HM-23
Kettle hat with cheek guards, Size L

Fully battle-ready replica of a late medieval kettle hat. Kettle hats arose in the 13th Century and were very popular with the cavalry up to the 15th Century. The kettle hat was forerunner for the sallet (Schaller) which was developed in the late 15th century. This Ulfberth®-kettle hat has been manufactured highly solid and is therefore well suitable for fully contact. The thickness of material is about 2mm, up to 6mm at the overlaps. At the helmet calotte four clasps overlap which are arranged very decoratively in cross shape. The kettle hat consists of two cheek straps from steel, to which leather strips with buckle are riveted.

A riveted, high-class, adjustable, and padded liner is included.

This helmet is available in three sizes (S, M, and L)
